She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Travis Dykes and Coy Dykes, Sr.; and her siblings, Tressie Mae Seals, Emma Neal Dykes, Della Rose Dykes, Linda June Lebo, Coy Dykes, Jr., Buddy Dykes and John Henry Dykes.
She is survived by: her husband Carlton E. Smith, Sr.; her children, Dorothy, William Edenfield and Carlton Smith, Jr.; her stepchildren, Terry Wayne Smith, Mitchell Smith and Sharon Smith Austin; her grandchildren, Jason Edenfield, Cody Smith, Brent Smith, Cassia Smith, Mark Burgess, Courtney, Allie (Jessica Smith) and Cole Tallia; and her sisters, Evelyn McCallister, Janice Jarreau and Jessica Rae Kling. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
