It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Populis of Magnolia, Mississippi, born in Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ernest M. Stout; and her husband Archie Howard Populis. She is survived by: her mother Johnnie McMillian Stout; her sons, Joseph E. Populis (Brandie), Timothy E. Populis and Jason M. Populis (Krista); her siblings, David Stout, Marshall Stout, Linda S. Probst (Edward), Pamela S. Hicks, Sharon S. Craig (Daniel) and Geneva Lightner (Joseph); her grandchildren, Tyler Populis, Kalli Populis, Jenson Populis, Christian Ming, Dannyn Ming and Caden Ming; and her niece Melissa Craig. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
