He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "V. W." Cagle and Donnis Miller Cagle; and his great grandchild Brantley. He is survived by: his wife Rose Compton Cagle; his son Buddy Cagle (Maileen); his stepchildren, Tanya Borneman (Richard), Laura Spurlin, Larry Cook, Jr. (Alicia) and Jeremy Cook; his grandchildren, Jordan, Clay, Alexis and Bryce; his stepgrandchildren, Ben, Remy, Cathryn, Victoria, Bre'An, Jonas, Ezra, Kane, Jace and Larry III; his great grandchild Aubrey; and his close friend John Goodman.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
