She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Burris and Clara Burns Burris; her husband Bernell Morris; her siblings, Lewis Burris, Paul Burris and Lavada Raborn; her daughter-in-law Sarah Morris; and her grandson Scottie Hammond.
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Morris Sr. of Magnolia, MS, Lester "Les" Morris (Dianne) of Magnolia, MS, Brenda Schenk (Bert) of Kentwood, LA and Gayle Smith (Len) of Magnolia, MS; her grandchildren, Esther Hammond, Mickey Morris, Jr. (Travonda), Amy Rimes (Chuck), Leon Morris, Chad Smith (Coty), Tracy Spears (Damon), Richard Morris (Raelyn), Cain Schenk (Cristy) and Heather Gilbertson (Kyle); her nephew Wayne Allen (Jeanine); and her niece Judy White Stringer (Anthony). She is also survived by 17 Great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; one special niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
