With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Lou Cooley (Magnolia, Mississippi), born in Corinth, Mississippi, who passed away on November 8, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Taylor Richards and Julius Richards. She is survived by: her husband W. A. Cooley of Corinth; her children, Keith Cooley (Liz) of Dover, DE, Kevin Cooley (Laura) of Tupelo, MS and Cathy Alexander (Wayne) of Corinth; her grandchildren, Z. B. Alexander (Jessica) of Corinth, Nate Alexander (Sara Beth) of Corinth, Caroline Gillentine (Jordan) of Starkville, MS, Olivia Cooley of Oxford, MS, Willie Cooley of Atlanta, GA, Alex Cooley of New York, NY and Sara Cooley of Ocean City, MD; and her great grandchildren, Hattie, Ellie Alexander, Haddon, Kev Gillentine and Wells Alexander. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, calling on friends.
In lieu of flowers, Linda instead requested that memorials be made to Women on Missions (WMU) Tate Baptist Church, a ministry that she started many years ago.
