She was predeceased by: her parents, George Taylor and Margaret Harmon Taylor; her daughter Lynda Buie; and her brothers, George Taylor and Glen Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband James Frank Hughes of Magnolia; her children, James Beau Hughes (Jessica) of Magnolia, Karen Stewart (Dale) of Magnolia and Heather Hughes of McComb; her sister Karol Anderson (Andy) of LaPlace, LA; and her grandchildren, Kalei Hughes, Hannah Hughes, Joshua Stewart, Jessica Pounds, Erin Crouch, Angela Bourgeois, Caleb Phelps and Eli Phelps. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
