He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Spencer and Maybelle Jackson Spencer; and his son Richard Eugene Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Spencer of Ripley, MS; his children, William "Bill" Paul (Wendy) of Ocean Springs, MS, Connie Conely (Bart) of Ripley, MS and Gina Dunnam (Randy) of Tupelo, MS; and his sister Elizabeth Witt of Byhalia, MS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
