He was predeceased by : his wife Carolyn Cutrer Taylor; his parents, Meritte Taylor and Elliot Taylor; and his siblings, David Taylor, Marland Taylor, Robert Taylor and Annelle Gray.

He is survived by : his son Randall Lyn Taylor of Ethel; his grandchildren, Brittany Taylor and Mason Taylor (Shelby Romero); his daughter-in-law Linda Taylor; his sister Lula Lea Robins; and his sister-in-law Loyce Taylor.
