It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Bennett in Magnolia, Mississippi, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelsie Bennett and Mary Lee Nelson Bennett; and his siblings, Lynn Bennett, Joann Timmons, Ruby Kay Holley, Marie Hodum, Mage Waldon and Vaser Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bennett of Tiplersville, MS; his son Steve Bennett (Kristie) of Walnut, MS; his sisters, Diane Roten (Loyd) of Walnut, MS, Nelda Swindle of Walnut, MS and Bobbie Burgess (Joe) of Memphis, TN; his grandchildren, Casondra (Scott), Kelsie (Justin) and Luke (Kelsey); and his great grandchildren, Preslee, Brody and Abigail.
