She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Cockerham and Audrey Travis Cockerham; and her husband James C. Freeman. She is survived by: her sons, Andy Freeman and Randy Freeman; her sisters, Gordean Coulter, Thelma Simmons and Edrie Tynes; and her friend Butch Gerald. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
