He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Green and Mary Elizabeth Barnes Green; and his wife Laurie Jane Green. He is survived by: his daughter Ann Marie Rainey of Ripley, MS; his sisters, Ann McAnally of Walnut, MS and Jo Frances Alacorn; and his grandchildren, Sonny Glissen, Kerrie Glissen, Christy Glissen and Christopher Rainey. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
