She was predeceased by : her parents, Leon Horace and Lucille Welch Kirkland; her husband Daniel Wells; and her siblings, Charles Kirkland and Dorothy Love.

She is survived by : her daughters, Pam Wells Etter (Bob) of Prairieville and Danette Wells of Magnolia; her siblings, Jerry Kirkland of Liberty and Betty Callendar of Liberty; her grandchildren, Kristin Rossi (Jonathan), Tyler Cheramie (Nicole) and Jacob Etter; and her great grandchild Jude Michael Cheramie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
