He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Edwards Kirby; his daughters, Sandra Kirby Williams, Jesse and Linda Kirby Wyrick; his grandchildren, Dewayne, Larry, Tony (Cindy), Leslie (Phil), J. J. (Kristen) and Joshua; his sisters, Louise Smith-James and Lois Caruso; his nephew Billy; and his nieces, Tina and Tammy. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
