We bid farewell to Chandra McVey in Magnolia, Mississippi, born in Booneville, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 10, 2024 at the age of 63. Chandra touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Chandra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Chandra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her mother Laqueta Smith Calvary; her husband Bob McVey; and her daughter Chancey McVey. She is survived by : her daughters, Angel McVey and Payton Smith; her father Gene Calvary; her siblings, Cam Calvary and Tamra Briggs; and her grandchildren, Lillie Harris, Damon Harris and Tatum Burress.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (613 Bunch St, Corinth, MS 38834). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
