He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Alford and Elizabeth Jackson Terrell; his sister Cora Ann Magee; his stepson Jordan McNabb; and his nephew Allen Bennet Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Travis Terrell; his stepdaughters, Chasity Lindfors of McComb and Heidi Tisdale of Magnolia; and his sister Mary Nell Grayson of Nashville, Tennessee. He is also survived by five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
