It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Elaine Gordon of Magnolia, Mississippi, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, W. J. Wilson and Dorothy East Wilson; her husband Durwood Gordon; her son Christopher "Kit" Gordon; and her siblings, Tommie Wilson and Lamont Wilson.

She is survived by : her son Randy Gordon; her grandsons, Christopher Glen Gordon, II (Heather), Joseph Stewart Gordon (Jasmine), Joshua McKnight Gordon (Mallory) and Jared Randall Gordon; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Emerson, Savannah, Ella, Easton, Braylie, Carter, Dani and Islay.
