She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Wallace and Rhoda O. Poff Hardy; her husband Nelson E. Miller; her son Elbert Griffin; and her sister Rosemary Feathers.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Cost (David) of Birmingham, AL, Nina Lowry (Paul) of Ripley, MS and Albert Griffin (Francis) of Ripley, MS; her sister Lorine Kilpartick of Tampa, FL; her sister-in-law Grace Childers (Joel) of Southaven, MS; and her grandchildren, Brian Cost (Mary Ivy) of Huntsville, AL, Heather Oaks (Brian) of Roswell, GA, Amanda Lowry Morrow (David), Keith Lowry (Shana) of Ripley, MS, Nicole DeCanter (Brian) of Falkner, MS, Brandon Griffin (Chelsey) of Ripley, MS, Brian Oaks, David Morrow, Brian DeCanter and Barrett Griffin. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
