He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie David and Bertie Barnard (Wells); his wife Jean Purvis Barnard; and his siblings, James Barnard, Opal Barnard Walker, Mary Barnard Tanner and Sue Barnard Spangler.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Dale Barnard (Cindy) and Melissa Barnard Barnes (Robbie); his brothers, Pete Barnard (Sue), Bennie Lloyd Barnard (Arlene) and Kenny Barnard (Kathi); his granddaughters, LauraLyn Barnes Barr and Whitney Barnes Baker (Brad); and his great grandchildren, Kaylea Barr, Meredith Barr, Sutton Barr, Laura James Baker, Barnes Baker and Kadie Ruth Baker.
