He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Sparks and Marie Sparks; his spouse Marreta White Sparks; and his siblings, David Hilton Sparks and Helen Sparks Barnes.

He is survived by: his children, Barry Sparks (Debbie) and Carla Sparks Moss (Bill); his grandchildren, Brittany Sparks Pace (Grant), Walker Sparks (Angela), Amanda Moss and Chad Moss; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Leighton, Koltin, Ella Kate, Caroline, Bailey and Harper; his caregiver Hertie Griffith; and his pet Little Joe.

In lieu of flowers, The family request donations to The First United Methodist Church of Magee, MS, P.O. Box 661, Magee, MS 39111.
