He was predeceased by: his mother Sally Stubbs; and his siblings, Charles Stubbs, Mack Stubbs, Jackie Williamson and Jane Lewallen.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stubbs; his daughter Lachel Story (Tom); his grandsons, Clayton Story and Mason Story; and his nieces and nephews, Paula Colson, Tootie Magee, Stacy McBride, Hank Lewallen, Kenny Stubbs, Dickey Stubbs and Bob Williamson. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; and a host of great-great nieces and nephews.
