Stephen Gwin Scoggins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 64, Stephen Gwin Scoggins (Magee, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Gwin Scoggins and Laquetta Cole Scoggins (Baptist Hospital); and his daughter Lisa Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Dollie Fay Ward Scoggins; his sons, Stephen Scoggins (Jordan) and Thomas VanTilborg (Betzy); his siblings, Johnnie Scoggins (Shirley), Ronnie Scoggins (Quida), Anthony Scoggins, Ann Klobe (Paul) and Amy Laster (Tommy); and his grandchildren, Bailee Bond (David), Randy VanTilborg, Drake Scoggins, Skylar Scoggins and Scarlett VanTilborg. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kennedy Springs Baptist Church (2021 MS-540, Magee, MS 39111). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
