She was predeceased by: her husband G. D. "Mac" McGuire; her parents, Eugie Layton and Birdie Duckworth Layton; and her brother Maurice Layton. She is survived by: her son Thomas McGuire of Hattiesburg; her nephews, Blake Layton (Maureen) of Starkville and Dirk Layton (Tammy) of Magee; her niece Anita Webb (Bob) of Forest; her sister-in-law Ann Layton of Magee; and her close friend Brandy Blakeney.
