It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Janet McCollum of Magee, Mississippi, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Charles E. McCollum; her daughter Denise McCollum; her parents, John Calvin Boone and Katie Lavernia Runnels Hughes; and her great grandchildren, Declan Blackwell and Alaric McCollum.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McCollum, Keith McCollum, Stacy McCollum (Christy), Deborah McCollum, Suzanne McCollum Ainsworth (John) and Sandra McCollum Warrell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Faith Baptist Church, 332 Colonial Dr. NE Magee, MS 39111.
