She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Dodd Sr. and Ada Mae Torrence Dodd; her husband Joe Metts Sr.; and her siblings, Billy Dodd, Lawrence Dodd, Jamie Lee Aldridge, Eva Prouty and Becky Heintz.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Metts Jr. (Teri) and Myra Arnold; her sisters, Dutchess Dodd and Judy Lyons; and her grandchildren, Josh Metts (Kristee), Jonathan Metts (Kay), Sarah Metts (Josh), Trey Arnold and Gency Arnold. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dry Creek Baptist Church (1246 Dry Creek Rd, Mendenhall, MS 39114).
