He was predeceased by: his parents, Griffin Deer and Mae Lee Deer; and his sisters, Emmylou Brown and Patsy Deer. He is survived by: his wife Frances; and his siblings, Lanell Smith, Charlene Berry (Rayford Berry), Bobby Deer and Sammy Deer (Pam). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
