He was predeceased by: his sister Jane Wilkinson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Craft Shelnutt; his children, Joey Craft of Kelvin Price, Kimberly Ashley (Adam) and Hannah Shelnutt; his grandchildren, Abrien Ashley, Kaden Ashley, Leila Ashley and Howard David Ashley; and his sisters, Karen Stomps, Kina Lockhart, Leanne Johnson, Cyndi Peden and Cristy Hammond.
