He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cullen Smith and Bertrez Johnson Smith. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Pettigrew Smith; his children, Aimee Smith Richardson (Brian) and Joseph Pettigrew Smith (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Chris Richardson (Taylor), Allison Richardson, Lucy Smith, Merilee Smith, Aimee Smith and Cullen Smith; his great grandchild Harper Richardson; his brother Tommy Smith (Teresa); and his aunts, Pat Smith and Cheryl Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, Children's of Mississippi Hospital, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
