It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Brien of Magee, Mississippi, born in Mendenhall, Mississippi, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Russell Sherman and Valeria Boggan Sherman. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Andy Brien (Courtney), Ben Brien (Katie), Patrick Brien (Nicole) and Casey Brien Adcox (Brandon); her grandchildren, Ella Kate Brien, Brooks Brien, Mae Claire Brien, Abbe Brien, Audrey Brien, Clara Brien, Addie Grace Barnard and Collier Adcox; her brother Rusty Sherman (Freda); her cousin Vic Dickerson (Carolyn); and her nieces, Alicia Magee and Brandi Kennedy.
