He was predeceased by: his parents, Evon Thompson and Berniece Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Thompson (Lenaee), Cyndi Thompson, Sandra Kennedy (Ronny) and Renee Grantham (Randy); his grandchildren, Ashia Good (Ben), Keshia Coulter (Thomas), Joshua Arnold, Shawn Gray (Madelyn), Brittany Rankin (John), Lauren Grantham (Marshall), Aaron Grantham (Melissa) and April Holifield (Bryan); his sister Linda Thompson Stewart; and his great grandchildren, Austin Good, Bennett Good, Bayleigh Kennedy, Allison Kennedy, Carter McCaffery, Addison McCaffery, Mary Kaidyn Gray, Scarlet Gray, Ayden Waldrop, Bryson Waldrop, Kynleigh Waldrop, Gracee Rankin, Rylee Rankin, Zoee Rankin, Maddee Rankin and Haleigh Coulter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
