She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Walker and Louise Jones Valentine; her husband Kent Gilliam; her siblings, Frank (Billie Walker), Betty (Norman Olney), Sarah (Bill Warren) and Ann Welter; and her grandson Austin Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne, Marilyn Gilliam, Jim, Dianne McWilliams, Dr. Tommy and Polly Myrick; her grandchildren, Christopher, Kimberly Silverman, Cheyenne Gilliam, Tyler, Courtny Ortmann, Joshua and Tiffani Myrick; her great grandchildren, Presleigh, Trace and Dax Ortmann; her sister Elaine; and her brother-in-law Billy Sanders.
