He is survived by: his wife Faye Nell Ates of Magee; his daughter Diana Ates Mills (Jesse) of Magee; his granddaughters, Janet Mills Runnels (Kevin) of Mize, Jamie Mills Wedgeworth (Benji) of Soso and Jessica Mills Bridges (Keith) of Ellisville; his great grandchildren, Bailey Wedgeworth, Lauren Runnels, Austin Wedgeworth and Allyson Bridges; his sister Vermell Ates Mangum (Billy Ray) of Richland; and his sister-in-law Ruth Ates of Covington, LA. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
