She was predeceased by: her husband Nolan Wilborn; her children, Billy Carroll Wilborn and Betty Atkins; her parents, Joe Hawthorne and Mamie McKinley Palmer; and her brother Mack Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Wilborn (Wilma) of White Pine, Nolan Wilborn (Donna) of Magee, Jimmy Wilborn (Carole) of Mt. Olive, Mary Katherine Hemby of Magee, MS and Debra White (John) of Magee, MS; and her siblings, Charles Brazelle and Shirley Dickerson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
