She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Morgan Bynum and Flora Lee McNeil Bynum; and her husband Herman W. Rogers. She is survived by: her son Anthony Herman Rogers (Tony); her grandsons, Derek Wilson Rogers (Kristy) and Terry Lee Rogers; and her siblings, Mary Ware, Billy Joe Bynum, Shirley Fontaine, DeDe Shorter, Hilmer Bynum and Hilda Price. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Southern Memorial Gardens (822 Simpson Hwy 149, Magee, MS 39111).
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Bertie requested no flowers and instead donate to your favorite charity.
