He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Andrew Rock and Lucille Odille Rock (Adams); his wife Shirley Mae; and his sons, Darren Rock and Shawn Patrick Rock.

He is survived by: his children, Aaron Q. Rock (Dayna), Byron Glen Rock, Heidi Stevenson and Mary Look. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
