He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Alex and Ida Mae McMorrough of Durant, MS.; his former wife Linda Bell; his wife Ellen Thames; his daughters, Lisa Tisdale (Carl) of Yazoo City and Laurie Cuevas (David) of Madison; his stepchildren, Deborah Dees (Clint) of Indianola, David Thames (Beth) of Brentwood, TN and Natalie Adkins (Todd) of Ridgeland; his siblings, David McMorrough (Cindy) of Belzoni and Patricia McMorrough of Belzoni; his grandchildren, Noah Morrison, Grayson Morrison, Ellie Morrison Boutot (Jordan), Hope, Faith, Victoria Cuevas, Ryan, Anna Adkins, Marin, Miles Thames, Nicole Andrews (Chris) and Jared Busick (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Roman Boutot, Landon Andrews, Peyton Andrews, Ellyn Claire Andrews, Ruby Busick and Davis Busick.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that memorials be made to The Assistance Fund, which is a 501 (c)(3) organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket expenses, and were of tremendous help when Billy was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis.
