He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Chesnut Miller and Cecil F. Miller; and his grandparents, Monroe Chesnut, Sara Chesnut, Randle Miller and Bertha Mae Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Anderson Miller; his sons, Mark Miller (Dawn) and Andy Miller (Marissa); and his grandchildren, Drew, Brooke, Lane, Morgan and Gavin.
