She was predeceased by: her father Percy Weems. She is survived by: her husband Mike Mathis; her children, Jon Michael Mathis and Kailey Mosley (Brandon); her mother Bertie Weems; and her sisters, Wendy Pounds (Todd) and Tammy Amis (Mark). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In leu of flowers, the family asks that you instead make donations to the "Flora United Methodist Church's Building Fund.".
