She is survived by: her children, George Edward Copeland, Jr. (Nan) and Charles Greg Copeland (Dalene); her wife Nan Copeland Jr.; her children, Patricia Ann Copeland Quinn, Susan Elizabeth Copeland and Joe Charles Sanders; her grandchildren, George Edward Copeland, III (Debbie), Spencer Pyles Copeland, Brandy Sanders Quinn, Charles Patrick Copeland (Susan), Dallas Percy Quinn and Brian Gregory Copeland (Gina); her great grandchildren, Julianna Copeland, Elizabeth Copeland, Carlise Copeland, Rainey Copeland, Walt Copeland and Madison Copeland; her brother Joe Charles Sanders of Meridian; her friend William Wright (Bill); and also Max.

The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association as an alternative to flowers.
