He was predeceased by: his former wife Joanne DuBois of New Paltz; his parents, Judge Wallace Whitson Ramsey and Elsie Ramsey; and his siblings, Marjorie Branan, James Ramsey and William Ramsey.
He is survived by: his former wife Marianna Levenhagen; his wife Frances Peacock Ramsey; his children, Susan Ramsey, Paul Ramsey (Kimberly) and Philip Ramsey (Debra); his stepdaughters, Laura Hefner (Bob) and Jennifer Boitnott (Chris); and his daughter Pamela Thrasher. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
