He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. "Coon" Brumfield and Anna Lyons Stewart Brumfield; and his son Thomas M. Brumfield. He is survived by: his wife Doris C. Brumfield; his children, Michael S. Brumfield (Peggy), Margaret B. Achatz (Adrian) and John D. Brumfield; his stepdaughters, Melissa G. Sims (Don) and Cindy G. Mathews (Mike); his grandchildren, Joshua Brumfield (Alicia), Jonathan Stewart Achatz, Madison Sims and Kelsey Mathews; and his great grandchildren, Amelia Brumfield and Scarlett Brumfield.
