It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Habeeb Abney of Madison, Mississippi, born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Philip Habeeb and Shirley Habeeb; her son Luke Abney (Alison); and her grandsons, Simms and Owen Abney.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to The Chapel of the Cross.
