She was predeceased by: her parents, John Welk Jones and Mae Dickerson Jones; her former husband Charles G. Pittman, Sr.; her son Joey Byrd; her son-in-law Danny Richardson; and her siblings, Juanita Jones Mitchell (George Isaac Mitchell Sr.), Dorothy Mae Jones Ray (James Lee Ray), James Franklin Jones (Bobbye Coats Jones) and Charles Garvis Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry W. Byrd; her children, Charles Pittman (Linda), Alicia Perry (Wesley), Teresa Richardson, Michael Pittman and Cathy Ford; her sister Sandra Jones Schuler; her sister-in-law Lily Jones; and her grandchildren, David Pittman, Chase Gilmer, Jeff Perry, Katie Perry, Matt Pittman, Hannah Hogg, Rebecca Kreutziger, Cameron Ford, Olivia Archie, McKenna Cobb, Anarose Ford, Joseph Byrd and Lindsey Byrd. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
