She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Luckett and Sallie Luckett; and her siblings, Pat Luckett, Charles Luckett, Gus "Gip" Luckett, Tom Luckett, Billy Luckett, Harriette Kee and Peggy Burwell.

She is survived by: her husband Johnny Gorrell; her children, John Patrick Gorrell (Gaye) of Cleveland, Stephanie Gorrell of Madison and Elizabeth Dodd (Donovan) of Gulf Shores, AL; her grandchildren, Brittani Gorrell (Jonathan Morris) of Sumner, Sarah Beth Gorrell and Hannah Gorrell of Gulfport; and her great grandchildren, Emmie Morris, Caisen Steadman and Caroline Morris.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer society.
