She was predeceased by: her husband Charles M. Barnes; her parents, Herbert Pope and Bessie Odell Brumfield Pope; and her sister Alice Faye Pope Walters. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Barnes (Kim) of Clinton, MS and Greg Barnes (Karen) of Madison, MS; her grandchildren, Lauren Barnes (Danny) of Nicholasville, KY, Lisa Beck of Birmingham, AL, Alison Langley (Kirsten) of Pensacola, FL, Zachary Barnes (John) of Nicholasville, KY and Jeffrey Rucker (Abbey) of Metairie, LA; and her brother Bobby Pope (Marie) of Tylertown, MS. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
