With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Elmore Povall of Madison, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on April 8, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Elmore Povall and George Oltenburg Povall. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Adair Povall of Madison; his daughters, Julie Povall Collins (Sid) of Hattiesburg and Emily Povall Massey (Todd) of Dallas, Texas; his sister Gretchen Povall Passons (Peyton) of Starkville; and his grandchildren, Sarah Kate Massey, Caroline Adair Massey, Jack Povall Massey, Emily Brister Collins and Keith Jamison Collins. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland or Stephen Ministry at Galloway United Methodist Church.
