He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Paul Ricks and Margaret Ann Copeland Ricks of Madison, MS; and his grandparents, Henry Beeman Ricks, Lavada Lang Ricks of Louisville, MS, Otha Curtis Copeland and Georgia Harrison Copeland of Philadelphia, MS..
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Wagner Ricks of Heaven's Gate; his daughter Brandi Ricks; his sister Paula Ricks Herbert (Mark Herbert) of Ridgeland; and also, Tylor Jefcoat of Madison and Skylor Jefcoat of Florence. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN or to M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX so that they may continue their fight against cancer.
