He was predeceased by: his wife Gerry Crump Maddox; and his siblings, Stina Bankston, Martha Richardson, Emma Mobley Cleney, William Albert Maddox, Horace Stansel Maddox and James Thomas Maddox.
He is survived by: his children, Pam, Jon (Cindy) and Jim (Staci); and his stepchildren, Nancy Elkins (Lee) and Kent Toler. He is also survived by grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
