He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Ruth and Autry Russell; and his sister Kay Wells. He is survived by: his children, Kecia Yelverton (Gene) of Ridgeland and Dr. Richard Russell, Jr. (Karen) of Madison; his grandchildren, Anna Kathryn, Rachel, Trey Russell and Ivey Yelverton; and his siblings, Sandra Young (Herman) of Holly Springs and Garner Russell (Patti) of Pass Christian.
