He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Treba Toinette Nichols and Richard Ansley Farr, Sr.; his wife Nellie Paul Farr; his son Gary Stephen Farr; his brother Jim Farr; his daughters, Paula Farr Jackson (Vincent) and Jan Farr Duran (Gerald); his grandchildren, David Myers (Caitlin), Anna Mach (Hunter), Joy Beth Myers (Tony) and Heather Duran Depta (Brent); his great grandchildren, Declan, Pierce Myers, Ruby, Noble Mach, Parker, Labryn and Mabry Hart Depta; and his siblings, Ralph Farr, Terry Farr and Vicki Ladner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Congregational Care at Madison United Methodist Church.
