He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie DeLoach Wilburn. He is survived by: his wife Jean Fonville Hastings; his brother Paul Hastings of Lambert, Mississippi; his children, Cindy Balentine (Ray) of Madison, MS and Alan Hastings (Stephanie) of Dallas, Texas; and his grandchildren, Carrie Balentine of Madison, MS, Will Balentine of Madison, MS and Brandon Hastings of Midlothian, Texas.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
